Registration is now open for the 2020 SA Coaching Clinic scheduled for the 14 – 16 December at Brighton and Seacliff Yacht Club.

Ash Brunning – National Performance Pathway will be joining the SA Coaching Clinic this year.  Ash based in Brisbane comes into this role with experience leading the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) and his Domestic and International insight to assist and provide national leadership and support to the AS Pathways program for both athletes and coaches.

"The purpose of my visit will be to meet both local coaches and sailors to provide them with an update on the national performance pathway direction. The activity during and after the clinic will be a focus on coach development, while also meeting local athletes to understand their needs. I look forward to spending some time with our friends in South Australia".

Another coach joining the program from interstate will be Ryan Palk.  Ryan brings experience in the single-handed class, both Laser and Kite Foiling.  Ryan will be the lead coach this year for the Laser class followed by a workshop with Larg's Bay Sailing Club in developing kiteboarding program in SA.

Ian Leeson – Regional Manager, said: "This year's Coaching Clinic complements the SA events calendar and helps sailors take advantage of receiving intense training for three days by leading coaches."
