The Local Sporting Champions program provides financial assistance for coaches, officials and competitors aged 12-18 participating in state, national or international championships.
As wingfoil racing gains momentum, the wide range of available equipment can be overwhelming for sailors new to the class and for coaches advising on gear selection. Choosing the right equipment early is crucial, not only for performance and progression but also to avoid unnecessary costs.
The championship will be held from 23rd to 26th October and expressions of interest from skippers are now open until the 19th September. This event is open to teams aged under 23.

Hosted by Teralba Amateur Sailing Club, the opening day of the 2024 Zhik Youth Sail New South Wales event saw 120 sailors on more than 100 boats welcomed to Lake Macquarie’s western shore.
