The OutThere Sailing SUP endorsement course has been created to accredit OutThere Sailing Instructors to deliver the SUP experiences within the OutThere Sailing program. This course provides instructors with technical demonstration and equipment information taught by SUP subject expert, James Casey. To find out more about James Casey check out his Instagram here  

Stand Up Paddleboarding has become increasing popular over the past few years thanks to its versatility and ease of use; it has been incorporated into the OutThere Sailing program because it enables participants to get out on the water even if there is no wind - instead of staying indoors and working on theory.

Created in partnership with Surfing Australia as part of the SportAUS Move it Participation grant program. We would like to thank Surfing Australia for their involvement and information in the creation of the course. The OutThere Sailing SUP endorsement will only take a short period of time to complete and is majorly beneficial for instructors to have as it has no expiry date as long as your dinghy, keelboat or powerboat accreditation remains up to date.

This SUP endorsement course is available to all current Australian Sailing instructors. Instructors need to obtain this SUP endorsement in order to run the OutThere Sailing program using Stand Up Paddle Boards. A windsurfing endorsement course will also be released in the near future, as well as an Instructor Induction course so keep an eye out for that!
